McCleary ("Mac") H. Sanborn, III maintains a general law practice in Santa Barbara, serving clients in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties, assisting individuals and families in family law, personal injury, estate planning and probate, and general civil litigation matters, including contract disputes.

Mac Sanborn earned undergraduate degrees in Economics and History before turning to the study of the law. While in law school, Mac was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Staff Writer and Assistant Student Articles Editor for the California Western International Law Journal. In addition, his article, "Standing Before the International Court of Justice" was published in the Journal.

In addition to being full-time practicing attorney, Mac has served as both a judge pro tem and arbitrator for the county superior courts. He maintains active involvement in community and youth organizations, and is a former president of a local church and little league.
